Get Up Close With the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Reverse Grinch” FV4921-600

Earlier this season, Captain Creps reported that the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Reverse Grinch” was in the works. Rumour has it that Nike is set to relaunch Kobe Bryant’s signature shoe line within the coming weeks, and this will be one of the first to drop as part of the new collection.

Initially spotted on the feet of LA Lakers star Anthony Davis, many sneakerheads assumed that this was just a Player Exclusive. However, new reports are now suggesting that the coveted colourway will actually get a public release after all. As it name hints, it’s an inverted take on the beloved “Grinch” that originally released in 2010. Featuring a fiery red upper, it’s decorated with a scaly pattern which pays homage to Bryant’s Black Mamba moniker.

A black Swoosh shoots through the lateral and medial sidewalls, while neon green accents arrive on the laces and tongue. The “Reverse Grinch” is then finished off with a pair of special edition insoles and comes packed in an exclusive shoebox, finalising the Holiday-ready design.

The Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Reverse Grinch” FV4921-600 will drop on December 18th just in time for Christmas. Let us know if you’ll be adding these to your rotation later this year, and while you’re here, you might as well take your first look at the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 “Black”!
