Adidas Take A Step Into The Future With The Adilette 22 Slides

After the initial release of the first few colourways, the Adilette 22 Slides set out for more drops in 2022! Scheduled for an August 2022 release is this Adidas Adilette 22 “Black Carbon”, a stealthy makeover to the Mars-inspired slide.

While the hype may have slowed down a little bit, the Adilette 22 remains incredibly popular, selling out almost immediately when restocked. If you’re looking for some new slides to rock during the hot summer season you gave to put the Adilette 22 into consideration!

Despite donning an all-black makeover, this “Black Carbon” rendition stands out thanks to the 3D Topographic textures. This design took inspiration from 3D Topography and human expeditions to Mars; truly out of this world! What’s not out of this world, however, is the EVA upper. The EVA foam base contains about 25% plant-based content from sugarcane. Recycled materials also comprised the Adidas Yeezy Foam Runner – using algae with EVA compound to form the foam-like upper.

Rough textures extend to the outsole where multiple craters act as suction cups and provide reliable traction.

Subtle Adidas branding appears on the lateral side. A minimalist Adidas Trefoil with the name “The Brand With The Three Stripes” adds a label to the Adilette 22.

This specific colourway will come out in August 2022 with a retail price of £45. The Adidas Adilette 22 Slide “Black” will be the fifth release following the four debut colourways. Expect more colourways to arise soon!
