The adidas Originals by JENNIE Collection Brings Balletcore to the Superstar
After years of headlining several adidas campaigns, JENNIE is finally stepping into a bigger role with the Brand with the Three Stripes. The BLACKPINK star and global fashion icon has officially unveiled adidas Originals by JENNIE, her first co-designed collection with the sportswear giant.
Built around the idea of “Functional Grace,” the FW26 collection combines the controlled elegance of ballet with the practicality of classic sportswear. JENNIE helped shape everything from the products to the campaign’s cinematic “Cosmic Ballerina” concept. This transformed her longtime adidas partnership from an ambassador role into a full creative collaboration.
Leading the collection is the adidas Superstar SQ Ballet, a dramatic reinterpretation of the iconic shell-toe sneaker. Inspired by a ballet pointe shoe, the low-profile silhouette features a premium leather upper, soft lambskin lining, a squared toe, ribbon detailing, and removable laces that allow for different styling options.
JENNIE’s creative direction also extends across apparel and accessories. Reworked track tops and pants are joined by layering T-shirts, wrap skirts, knit cardigans, sheer bodysuits, leggings, polar fleece hoodies, high-knit leg warmers, and cut-out socks. Together, the pieces blur the line between dancewear, premium athleisure, and everyday street style.
