Adidas Signs Jenna Ortega & Introduces New Sportswear Label

Adidas signs “Wednesday” Star Jenna Ortega to headline the brand’s first new label in 50 years. The new adidas Sportswear label combines the German brand’s Performance and Originals (lifestyle) categories for versatility. Adidas brings the focus to levelling up fashion and combines sports performance technology with everyday comfort.

Adidas looks forward in a different direction since the departure of Yeezy. With that said, the brand tapped global superstar actress and producer Jenna Ortega to lead the newly-launched adidas Sportswear. The new label indicates that the trainers will be meant for lifestyle but will feature technology used on performance sneakers.

Adidas AVRYN

The new adidas AVRYN combines two notable foam cushion systems, Boost and Bounce to create a comfortable everyday trainer. Recycled content comprises the mesh and textile upper while a plastic heel clip ensures consistent fit wherever you go.

Signature three stripes on the sides stand out in the usual adidas fashion. A folded heel tab adds a unique look to this all-around sneaker.

Release Information

The adidas Sportswear will debut globally on February 9, 2023. Expect the adidas AVRYN and Tiro Suit Collection to be available by then. More styles will emerge throughout the Spring Summer 2023 season.

On a side note, Netflix confirmed the hit series Wednesday to get its second season. It would be awesome if we get adidas collections inspired by the iconic character portrayed by Jenna Ortega!
