On-Foot Look: Air Jordan 1 High OG Retro “Yellow Toe” 555088-711

One of the long-awaited Air Jordan 1 Highs in 2022 finally gets an on-foot look months before it hit retailers courtesy of none other than @yankeekicks. “You know what it is” – Wiz Khalifa singing “Black and Yellow” probably, a true stunner with its vibrant Yellow together with dominating shades of Black. Let’s check out the awesome on-feet photos courtesy of Already marked on the sneaker radar for 2022 long before it arrives!

First of all, the tumbled leather quality on these is superb! The leather material used on Air Jordan 1s varies per style and colourway; but right from the get-go, you can already see the premium and soft leather from these images.

The “Yellow Toe” namesake originated from the J1 “Bred Toe” as the former follows the same colour blocking as the latter. White tumbled leather comprises the quarter panel; while Black leather covers the toe, eyestay, tongue, ankle collar, lining, Swooshes, and laces.

Vibrant hints of Yellow steal the show and appear on the vamp, ankle, heel panel, and rubber outsole. Yellow replaces the Gym Red hues found on the Bred Toes.

Jordan Wings logo headline the collar, while “Nike Air” labels on the tongue appear in Yellow to complete the theme.

While Michael Jordan himself never wore yellow Jordans on the court, colourways rocking the bright hue remain very popular. The yellow on the Air Jordan 1 High “Yellow Toe” is brighter than the yellow used on the Pollen 1s from 2021.
