Air Max SC

We have our sights on yet another economical design now. The Nike Air Max SC emerges as a simplified interpretation of the AM1 and AM90 models. However, it’s important to note that this versatile option can complement a wide range of attire, and the choices for colour schemes are virtually limitless.

Its weight is almost negligible, and the combination of leather and mesh in the uppers provides excellent ventilation. Despite being a more affordable option, the SC exhibits remarkable durability, comparable to the AM90, thanks to its similarly designed outsole. Undoubtedly, this shoe offers remarkable value at its affordable price point.

Interestingly, SC was originally intended to stand for Sports Classic, in contrast to its earlier use on the Bo Jackson basketball shoes, where it was meant to represent Strength and Conditioning. This led to confusion when the Bo Jackson shoes were included in the Sports Classic series. Subsequently, the name AIR TOTAL MAX SC was applied to other premium versions, and by around 1999, most labels on the boxes were changed to read AIR MAX 95.
