Nike and Vibram have partnered to develop the Nike ZoomX Ultrafly, an avant-garde trail shoe aimed at speed and performance. The collaboration integrates cutting-edge Vibram technology, yielding an unprecedented shoe. the Ultrafly Trail showcases remarkable advancements in rubber and sole technology. Vibram Litebase, a novel outsole design, combines Vibram MegaGrip rubber with Traction Lugs, resulting in a 30% reduction in sole weight via a 50% decrease in thickness. This weight reduction is aimed at boosting speed, positioning the Ultrafly Trail as a top-tier racing shoe. A carbon Flyplate, situated between the ZoomX foam and specialized fabric-covered midsole, adds energetic propulsion and responsiveness.

The shoe offers a level base and minimal cross rocker to enhance stability across various trail terrains. The heel-to-toe rocker ensures seamless transitions, while engineered support zones in the midfoot provide security and lightweight comfort, facilitating impressive trail navigation. The Vibram outsole stands out with its sleeker, lighter design compared to traditional ones. Its adhesive rubber and chevron lug pattern ensure reliable traction on uphill and downhill stretches, even in wet conditions. The fabric wrap around the midsole enhances endurance by guarding against external elements and trail-induced wear.
