Classic and Contemporary Collide With the New Balance 2010 “Grey Days”

Even though the 2010 literally just dropped, it’s swiftly become one of the Boston sportswear company’s most hyped-up silhouettes. And with New Balance‘s annual “Grey Days” celebrations coming up just around the corner, the New Balance 2010 “Grey Days” has been revealed just in time for the fun festivities.

At first glance, the 2010 feels familiar. Its chunky build recalls the much-loved 99X series, though this one isn’t part of the Made in USA lineup. Sitting comfortably alongside the ever-popular 9060, it’s the perfect blend of classic and modern.

Look closer, and details shine through. The pre-yellowed ABZORB midsole brings a vintage vibe straight out of the box. Reflective “N” logos and a subtle light blue pop on the tongue create a visual spectacle. Elsewhere, the upper is crafted from premium leather and short-haired suede, and it’s tied together with a pair of vintage-esque cotton laces.

Dropping on May 22nd, the New Balance 2010 “Grey Days” will launch as part of a much wider “Grey Days” collection. Let us know if you’ll be adding these to your rotation, and be sure to keep it locked for your best chance to secure your size!
