Damn JJJJound, Back At It Again With The White Vans

When it comes to sneaker collaborations, JJJJound is king. From New Balance to Salomon, all the way to Puma and Reebok, the Montreal-based fashion label knows how to create a good shoe. Now, they’ve set their sights on a skateboarding staple as we take our first look at the upcoming JJJJound x Vans Collection.

As clean as it gets, the range features the Slip-On and the Sk8-Hi so far. Both pairs are painted in crisp all-white colour schemes with premium details throughout. For instance, the Slip-On features a leather brand tag, while the Sk8-Hi is completely covered in grey suede overlays. They also work on top of complementary canvas bases for added durability, and are paired with cotton laces for that classic Vans vibe.

Elsewhere, co-branded detailing is printed on the insoles, and both trainers come packed in special edition shoeboxes that have been made for all of the Justin Saunders fans out there.

Of course, this isn’t the first time that JJJJound and Vans have teamed up. Back in 2017, the duo worked on three pairs of Old Skool LXs. This was at a time when the imprint certainly wasn’t as hyped as it is now, so you might be surprised to learn that these didn’t sell out immediately. That said, there’s no denying that this 2023 collection will.

Not much else is known about the JJJJound x Vans 2023 Collection at the moment. However, our sources tell us that a third pair will be revealed very soon. Let us know what you think of this collab, and if your Vans hurt the back of your feet – here’s why.
