Over the past four decades, the Air Force 1 has gone through countless makeovers. And while the idea of the Nike SB Air Force 1 sounds quite obvious at first, the American sportswear company has actually never released this hybrid version before – until now, that is.
Just days after the alleged Nike SB Air Max 95 was teased, the Bruce Kilgore-designed basketball shoe will apparently be the next silhouette to get the skate-ready treatment. While these rumours have yet to be officially confirmed, we already have in-hand images from a slew of reputable trainer collectors. The debut colourway will work on top of a slick “Black” base and is overlaid by dark grey suede around the front and back of the sneaker. A Swoosh is stamped across the lateral and medial sidewalls, and like the ever-popular SB Dunk, this AF1 boasts a chunkier tongue for additional comfort.
Underfoot, the midsole is infused with Nike‘s Air technology for unrivalled cushioning, and according to our sources, the outsole has also been revamped for grippier performance both on and off the half-pipe.
Not much else is known about the Nike SB Air Force 1 at this moment in time, but it’ll launch sometime in 2025. Let us know if you’ll be adding these to your rotation next year, and be sure to keep it locked at Captain Creps for your best chance to secure your size!
