Following on from the huge success of the Pegasus Premium and Vomero 18. Nike continues to push its high-cushioning line-up with the Vomero Premium—an everyday runner packed with elite-level tech. It sits tall at the heel, measuring in at a 55mm stack height, and features a ZoomX midsole paired with visible Zoom Air units in both the forefoot and heel. Rather than a full-length Zoom setup, Nike’s focused placement here lets the air units expand and contract more freely under pressure.
There’s more than just function on show. The upper keeps things classic, with a clean midfoot Swoosh and minimal fuss. But look closer and you’ll spot a playful nod to the past—oversized “AIR” lettering stamped boldly along the heel, echoing the Air More Uptempo from ’96. A small but sharp reference to Nike’s design archives.
While it’s built for daily wear, the Vomero Premium carries performance credibility too. It’s been worn by world-class runners like Faith Kipyegon, who used the shoe during training for her sub-four-minute mile chase. The ZoomX foam keeps things soft, responsive, and surprisingly lightweight, while the Zoom Air units provide targeted pop and stability across different strike zones.
For those after comfort without compromise, the Vomero Premium blends nostalgia, innovation, and that unmistakable Zoom bounce in one high-stacked silhouette. The Vomero Premium will be available at select retail partners October 2 and globally October 16.
