First Look: Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “LA Dodgers”

With the return of Major League Baseball in April 2022, Nike SB is also back and loaded with a bunch of MLB-inspired SB Dunks. This Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “LA Dodgers” joins the likes of “New York Mets” and “Philadelphia Phillies” colourways. Aside from the MLB teams, Nike got a Nike Dunk Low “Jackie Robinson” tribute set to arrive sometime in 2022.

While the unannounced Nike SB Dunk MLB Pack has no specific release date yet; let’s get a closer look at these first images of the upcoming Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “LA Dodgers” rendition.

A white leather upper makes up the base, with Blue suede overlays right on the toe, eyestays, rear, and heel panel. The Swoosh comes in a cloth-like fabric that seems to be nylon and is stitched on the upper. Thick laces also come in blue, as well as the tongue tag where a red Nike SB label appears.

Red accents hit the branding on the tongue and the “NIKE” on the heel panel. Sticking to the LA Dodgers’ uniform colours.

Inside the tongue, a palm tree resides on the left pair; while a Light Blue billboard with a “Welcome” sign appears on the right. The billboard on the right shows heavy similarities to the Dodger Stadium screen.

Finishing the design is the gum rubber outsole with a pink splatter print on the right shoe; another unique detail resembling stepped-on bubble-gum. This design is also found on the rest of the MLB-inspired SB Dunks and is one of the most recognisable details in the women’s Air Jordan 1 High “Atmosphere Pink” from the previous year.

No release details have been identified, but we’ll keep you all posted once new information surfaces.
