New Balance Debuts The 9060 “Sea Salt” U9060MAC

A fresh New Balance silhoette lands at New Balance and over at Captain Creps, we’re big fans! Boston-based sportswear brand New Balance took inspiration from 80s computer aesthetics and NB 990 to make the New Balance 9060. First released as part of a Joe Freshgoods collab, we now have the first no-collab New Balance 9060 colourway. This “Sea Salt” rendition goes for neutral tones headlined by the signature Greyscale New Balance “N” logo.

Launching on the back of a lot of incredibly hyped 2022r drops, the 9060 is positioned well to make waves in the sneaker community. Let’s take a closer look at the newest NB Lifestyle trainer below.

The New Balance 9060 combines elements of classic New Balance running shoes such as the 990, 991, and 860v2. Sway bars seen on the 990 reinforce the mesh base of the 9060, now covering more layers than ever before. Leather and pigskin suede comprise these overlays. Inspired by 1980s computers, this New Balance 9060 “Sea Salt” mixes Beige and Grey hues; flaunting the future retro vibe.

An iconic “N” logo appears in Grey on the lateral panel, while a subtle embroidered “N” formed in broken lines adorns the medial side.

The Green jewel NB 9060 logo on the tongue took inspiration from the New Balance 991 lace jewel detail.

The sculpted pod midsole features a dual-density combo of ABZORB and SBS cushioning for a well-balanced ride. Wavy aggressive lines on the midsole also serve as outriggers for more stability.

A glossy heel counter boasts pebble-like textures and provides heel lockdown.

The decoupled outsole with diamond traction pods on the heel and forefoot completes the unique design of the 9060.

Released in July 2022, the New Balance 9060 “Sea Salt” is the first genel release colourway. Because of the hype surrounding the New Balance 9060 x Joe Freshgoods, this rendition became an intriguing style as well. If you ran out of sizes, we suggest checking StockX.
