“Friends & Family” usually signals a sneaker most people will never have a chance to buy. Nike’s new Air Force 1 ’07 “SNKRS” plays with that expectation. The fresh new colourway appeared in Nike’s Holiday 2026 SNKRS preview, and sneaker outlets report that a public release through the app is planned.

The Air Force 1 ’07 “SNKRS” makes its point without changing the AF1’s familiar low shape. Cream leather runs across the upper and tongue, while deep Obsidian Swooshes bring contrast to the sides. Those Swooshes end before the heel tabs, leaving a little more open space than the usual arrangement. Metallic Gold details on the laces add a flash against an otherwise restrained palette. It looks like a clean everyday Air Force 1 at first glance, with the story saved for a closer look.

Inside, “Got ’Em” appears on the insoles: a direct reference to the message SNKRS users hope to see after entering a release. The outsole carries an image of the Winged Victory of Samothrace, the sculpture at the Louvre that also has a replica at Nike’s Beaverton campus. One detail speaks to the ritual of buying sneakers now; the other reaches back to imagery embedded in Nike’s identity. Both are tucked into places you might miss while the shoe is on foot.

That balance is the appeal. The Air Force 1 has room for a theme, but this edition lets the leather, colour and classic shape do most of the work. You needn’t be devoted to the SNKRS app to like how it looks. Reports point to a Holiday 2026 launch through Nike SNKRS, but there is no confirmed date yet.
