The Nike SB Dunks are not the only Nike sneakers with a fruit theme this year. While the Nike SB’s “Fruity Pack” pays tribute to “420” culture; the Air Max “Fruit Pack” leans towards the summer season. Clad in a clean White upper, the Nike Air Max 90 “Blood Orange” goes for vibrant hues of Max Orange. The namesake colourway refers to blood oranges; also called raspberry oranges due to the reddish colour of the fruit.

This Nike Air Max 90 joins the Air Max Plus “Grape”, Air Max 95 “Lemon Lime”, and Air Max 97 “Blueberry” in a new collection. Dubbed the Nike Air Max “Fruit Pack”, corresponding fruits appear on the Nike Air on the sockliner of each shoe. Other regions already have these available, so expect a Nike UK release soon! The upper construction arrives with the usual materials. The mesh base, leather mudguard, and midsole come in White. Black accents appear on the leather Swoosh, interior lining, and Nike labels on the tongue and TPU heel panel. Vibrant Max Orange pigments adorn the Swoosh outline, Air Max label on the sides, top TPU eyestay, TPU heel panel, inner tongue lining, and the Air Max pillars on the heel.

The waffle outsole combines Black and Max Orange similar to the iconic Infrareds.

Orange graphics underneath the Nike Air label on the sockliner fulfil the “Blood Orange” theme of the shoe.

Expect the Nike Air Max 90 “Blood Orange” to release together with the rest of the Nike Air Max “Fruit Pack” soon, just in time for the summer season. The all-white makeover of this shoe is perfect for all those outdoor getaways!
