Nike Tech Moves Beyond Fleece With SF3 and Boreas

Nike Tech has spent more than a decade becoming part of the everyday streetwear uniform. For 2026, its biggest change comes through what the clothes are built to handle: rain, colder commutes and the shift between indoor and outdoor spaces. The familiar fleece remains, but waterproof shells and heavier layers give the collection a broader purpose.

That expansion makes sense for a range worn as often around town as around training. Rather than relying on another colour update, Nike gives shoppers more reason to choose between pieces. SF3 addresses wet weather, Boreas adds substantial warmth, and lighter options extend the wardrobe into warmer conditions. The appeal is practical, with different textures bringing variety to Nike Tech’s clean sportswear look.

Each version serves a distinct function; let’s take a more detailed look at each item below.

1. Nike Tech SF3

The waterproof outer layer uses recycled materials and sealed seams, with airflow also part of Nike’s design brief. Its fabric is designed to soften with wear, giving the technical shell a less rigid character over time.

2. Nike Tech Boreas

High-pile fleece lining and sleeve panels introduce a plush texture, balanced by a water-repellent Tech Fleece exterior. The oversized full-zip hoodie comes in Black, Velvet Brown and New Slate.

3. Nike Tech Fleece

The familiar option retains fleece that is smooth on both sides, a relaxed shape and reflective tape across the chest and seams.

Nike confirms a 5th November 2026 release date for the collection through Nike.com and selected UK retailers.
