Nike’s upcoming Air Force 1 Low pairs a Dark Team Red leather base with Dark Spruce patent leather overlays, landing remarkably close to the iconic “Beef and Broccoli” aesthetic without serving as an official tribute. The rich autumnal palette also continues Nike’s recent push toward premium finishes, with patent leather giving the classic silhouette a more elevated edge.

Deep red makes up most of the upper, while glossy green overlays and an Iridescent Green Swoosh provide striking contrast. The patent leather doesn’t just add shine, it gives the familiar Air Force 1 a sharper, more refined look than the rugged inspiration behind its color scheme.

That inspiration is hard to miss. The combination immediately recalls Timberland’s legendary brown-and-green Field Boot, better known as the “Beef and Broccoli” colorway. A longtime staple of New York City style, the nickname has become synonymous with fall footwear. Nike never fully recreates that formula here, but the resemblance is unmistakable.

Expected to arrive in August 2026, the release lands just ahead of the season its colors were made for. Once cooler weather and heavier layers return, this Air Force 1 Low should feel right at home in the fall rotation.
