Finally landing 10th March 2022 after months of speculation. The Nike x sacai Vaporwaffle “White / Gum” arrives in neutral tones for a clean and classic makeover. Nike and Chitose Abe’s Sacai are starting their 2022 colab with one of the most highly anticipated drops to date! Check out these official images below prior to the official 10th March Release.
Joining the other “Off-Noir” colourway is this White and Sail colour scheme finished off with a gum sole. We all know how the past Nike x sacai collabs showcased a blast of colours; specifically the three-way collab between Nike, sacai, and KAWS on the LDWaffle. This time, the Japanese-based fashion label have clearly opted for a simpler approach.
Featuring the signature sacai details such as the “doubled” aesthetics. As a modern rework of two running icons in the Pegasus 83 and the VaporFly, the Vaporwaffle was a literal collision of two runners into one. Standard nylon makes up the body, while Sail White suede overlays occupy the key areas.
Unlike the LDWaffle, there are no overlapping Swooshes on this one. There are double-stacked tongues and foam midsoles, though. A Nike x sacai tongue tag appears on the upper layer, while a vintage Sportswear label with the orange Swoosh dons the bottom.

The midsole features about three stacks of foam; all of which come with different densities for a well-balanced ride.
A classic waffle sole popularised by the legendary track coach and Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman finishes off the bottom.
Finally arriving in March 2022, expect the Nike x sacai Vaporwaffle “White / Gum” is set to be an incredibly popular drop. Top five of the year potential for sure!
