Official Photos: Nike Air Max 97 Terrascape “Off-Noir White” DJ5019-001

A popular colourway also found on other Terrascape models now lands on the Nike Air Max 97! After the first successful runs of the Air Max 90 Terrascape and Air Max Terrascape Plus, it’s now the turn of another Air Max giant, the Air Max 97. The Nike Air Max 97 Terrascape “Off-Noir White” is seemingly a staple colourway with its neutral tones, bound to have wide appeal.

This is the third Air Max shoe to don the sustainability-focused Terrascape label; looking to pave the way for other Air Max icons in the future.

A mix of various upper materials comprise the shoe; there’s a ripstop mesh base with canvas overlays and fuse reinforcements on the mudguard, as well as the wavy TPU panels. What seems to be strips of fuzzy suede also appear on the eyestays and lower panels. Airy mesh adorns the lower midfoot sections where the mini Swoosh resides on the regular AM97s

Speaking of Swoosh, the Terrascape 97 features an out of place woven Swoosh on the rear underneath the collar. This is quite similar to the Nike Air Max 95‘s Swoosh placement, except this one’s bigger and catches a lot of attention.

Signature Terrascape labels on the tongue and heel tab stay true to the theme. Recycled features such as the Nike Grind Rubber make up the entirety of the midsole and outsole. Colourful speckles on the midsole indicate the factory scraps recycled during footwear manufacturing processes.

That full-length Air Max unit that we all love remains true to form and provides a bouncy and responsive ride.

The Nike Air Max 97 Terrascape “Off-Noir White” will expectedly come out sometime in 2022. Other regions already have these in stock, but stay tuned for the official UK release date.
