The modern adidas OZWEEGO gets more flavours for 2022! One of the popular adidas Originals mainstays, this updated version boasts new upper materials. The adidas OZWEEGO “Black Grey Four” sticks to the classic Triple Black makeover; with added hints of Grey camo-like prints on the three stripes. Bulky trainers are still in demand after all these years!

While the likes of the adidas Superstar, Stan Smith, and even the Gazelle remain highly touted pairs, the adidas OZWEEGO emerges once more. This 2019 version takes design inspiration from the original 90s trainer for the modern era of sneakerheads. A much-needed update that steered the shoe back to the mainstream selections of adidas.

The adidas Ozweego first came to the Three Stripes catalogue back in 1996. But this 2019 reissue of the vintage trainer hits close to home with similar design cues on the construction. The main highlight of the shoe comes in the bulky form of the upper; as well as the thick contoured midsole which focuses on providing torsional support and cushioning.

Old-school adiPRENE+ serves as the foam midsole and provides decent cushioning.

Rugged style traction patterns with various nubs on the forefoot provide a consistent and durable grip on most surfaces.

The 2019 adidas Ozweego remains quite popular even years since it first came out. This adidas OZWEEGO “Black Grey Four” features an all-black textile upper with synthetic leather panels on the toe and mudguard. Camouflage hits of Grey appear on the three stripes in a subtle manner.

The shoe is now available on the adidas UK website along with other new colourways of the adidas OZWEEGO.
