Boost on a lifestyle shoe is always the go-to option if you need to stand or walk for hours! That’s also the reason why adidas refuses to replace Boost (although Lightstrike is also a new adidas foam). This adidas Retropy E5 “Dark Green” joins the adidas Originals footwear roster utilising full-length Boost foam midsoles.
Adidas loves Boost and so do we! The popular foam cushioning is now a household name when it comes to comfort and impact protection. This Retropy E5 colourway combines function and comfort in one so you won’t have to worry about your kicks! Nature-inspired colours are great for a wide range of outfits no matter the season.
Adidas pays homage to the brand’s 70s classic kicks with the arrival of the Retropy E5. This shoe looked to be the follow-up model of the I-5923, or formerly known as the Iniki Boost. Both silhouettes feature throwback uppers with modern full-length Boost midsoles.
The adidas Retropy first came out in 2021 as part of the adidas Originals lineup. Sticking true to 70s trainer aesthetics, the Retropy E5 features a nylon body with suede reinforcements on the front and back. Leather eyestays keep the structure intact.
A full-length Boost foam midsole serves as the primary source of cushioning. Below is a rugged rubber outsole for consistent traction on any surface.
The adidas Retropy E5 “Dark Green” features a Dark Green nylon base with Beige suede overlays on the front and heel. Three stripes on the sides, adidas branding on the tongue, and the heel pull tab come in White.
The White full-length Boost midsole and Beige rubber outsole finish off this clean design.
