The Craft series from Jordan Brand introduces varying upper materials on Air Jordan Retros. We’ve already seen a couple earlier this year, but this silhouette further adds to the growing roster.
Most sneakerheads probably have an Air Jordan 1 in their collection. It doesn’t even matter if they witnessed Michael Jordan play or not, the name was just too legendary!
Originally released in 1985, the famous Air Jordan 1 redefined Nike’s basketball shoes and became the standard for the brand. This model along with several other silhouettes allowed Nike to finally make a breakthrough in the basketball footwear industry.
The Air Jordan 1 comes with a leather upper, a perforated toe box, a nylon tongue, and a rubber cupsole. These are typical design features you can find on almost every single 80s basketball shoe across all brands. The difference? This shoe boasts a distinct look thanks to the Jordan Wings logo on the lateral collar.
The Air Jordan 1 High OG Craft “Vibrations of Naija” features a white leather upper with sail white accents on the laces, lining, edges, and outsole. Unique textile overlays comprise the Swoosh and collar.
This old-school-looking colourway releases this May 2023 on Nike UK.
