One of the most awaited Air Jordan 1 High colourways of 2022 gets a confirmed launch this August! We now get a Black and Yellow version by borrowing the famous colour blocking from an OG J1 High colourway. The Air Jordan 1 High OG Retro “Yellow Toe” puts a twist on the “Bred Toe” rendition with Yellow hits. Set to be a popular release among the Air Jordan 1 roster in 2022.
Aside from the “Bred Toe”, many sneakerheads likened this colourway to the Shattered Backboard because of their warm colours. While most eyes are on the upcoming “Chicago Reimagined” in October, the Yellow Toe 1 is one of the must-cop pairs before then.
One of the most recognisable sneakers today, the Air Jordan 1 already started making waves way back 1985. A masterpiece by the late great Peter Moore, the Air Jordan 1 was Michael Jordan’s first-ever signature basketball shoe from Nike. It poses a similar construction as the Nike Dunk, but the Jordan 1s differ thanks to MJ’s signature details. Aside from the Swooshes and Nike Air on the tongue, the Air Jordan 1 features the Wings logo.
Years later, the Air Jordan 1 remains a popular sneaker staple beyond basketball; often becoming a streetwear grail for many people.
This Air Jordan 1 High OG Retro “Yellow Toe” features the Bred Toe colour blocking, replacing the Red with Yellow. Sail White makes up the quarter panel of the shoe. Black covers the toe, eyestay, Swoosh, collar, laces, and lining.
Yellow hues adorn the vamp, heel, Nike Air on the tongue, sockliner, outsole, and ankle collar.
Extra laces will be included aside from the Black default laces.
Stay tuned for its release in August 2022, expected to be a very popular drop this year!
