As one of our favourite Spiderman variants Miles Morales returns on-screen, Jordan Brand celebrates with another Air Jordan 1 High. The Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will premiere on 2nd June 2023, and that means another special sneaker release! This Air Jordan 1 High x Spider-Verse “Next Chapter” pays homage to the process of making and animating comics. It also takes inspiration from the Multiverse, hence the different upper materials and graphics. A must-have in the collection!

Jordan Brand follows up on the 2018 release with a sequel, just like the movies! A lot of awesome details can be found in this Chicago-inspired Spider-Verse Air Jordan 1 High. Did you know the semi-translucent soles also glow in the dark? Yes, that’s right! That’s just one of the impressive features of this shoe.

Just like the Marvel Multiverse, the Air Jordan 1 High “Chicago” has many variants. We got the OG 1985, 1994 retros, 2013, 2015, Off-White, Lost and Found, Trophy Room, Spider-Verse, and now this one. We could even include the “Homage to Home” which features both the Chicago and Bred in one shoe.

The Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” is the primary colourway worn by Michael Jordan during his rookie season. It fits the NBA uniform policy of having at least 50% white on the upper of the shoe. We can recall that Nike paid $5000 every time MJ violated this, which became a perfect marketing strategy as it intrigued people.

The Air Jordan 1 High x Spider-Verse “Next Chapter” features a white leather base with university red overlays like the Chicago. Leather and suede comprise the red panels, and polka dots on the collar and medial rear pay tribute to the way comics are made. A 3D-like effect on the Jordan Wings logo brings more Spider-Verse aesthetics.

The semi-translucent outsole completes the fresh design.
