Huge “Hyper Royal” vibes on this one! A number of J1 Mid colourways brought a lot of hope for fans who missed out on the more elusive Highs. Making its debut in 2022 is this new colourway flaunting dusty Blue suede overlays. The Air Jordan 1 Mid SE “French Blue Fire Red” makes use of White and French Blue colours with hints of Red and Grey for a new makeover.

If you missed out on the Air Jordan 1 High “Hyper Royal” a few years ago, this makes a good alternative! And it’s not as limited as the High renditions of the classic Air Jordan 1. If you still don’t know by now, J1 Mids are definitely worth trying.

The recent surge of Air Jordan 1s back in 2020 is no surprise. Thanks to Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls’ ‘Last Dance’ documentary, new generation sneakerheads saw the impact of MJ’s sneakers.

Originally introduced in 1985, the Nike Air Jordan 1 became the on-court option of a rookie Michael Jordan. The shoe features a leather construction, nylon tongue, and an embedded Air unit in the heel. Years later, the J1 transitioned outside basketball and towards skateboard and streetwear and became a popular footwear choice.

The Air Jordan 1 Mid SE “French Blue Fire Red” features a White leather base with French Blue suede overlays. Grey adorns the Swoosh and outsole, while Red appears on the Jumpman and Wings logo on the tongue and heel. This colour combination reminds people of the “Hyper Royal” colourway on the High because of the dusty Blue suede overlays.
