New York Knicks fans rejoice! Here’s a pair to reminisce all the times Michael Jordan battled against the Knicks throughout his stellar career. No better way to represent the Big Apple than a sneaker that resembles team colours. This Air Jordan 1 Mid “Knicks” boast Blue and Orange hues as a nod to one of the biggest franchises in the NBA.

Team-inspired Air Jordan Retros always bring together fans and other communities. This time, the New York Knicks get their own Air Jordan 1 Mid. While no NYC logos can be seen, the colour scheme alone is an obvious tribute to one of the Chicago Bulls’ rival teams in the 90s.

An immortalised classic shoe, the Air Jordan 1 redefined Nike’s future when it first came out in 1985. Michael Jordan made all this possible when he showcased never-before-seen talent as a rookie in the NBA.

The Air Jordan 1 features a leather base, Jordan Wings logo on the ankle, and Swooshes on the sides. An encapsulated Nike Air unit in the heel adds a little bit of cushioning to protect the joints from impacts.

Concentric traction patterns complete the rubber cupsole.

The shoe remains extremely popular today, with the new Reimagined series bringing back OG flavours with a twist.

This Air Jordan 1 Mid “Knicks” features a White leather base with Blue and Orange overlays. Blue makes up the majority of the outer layers while Orange comprises the Swoosh, Jordan Wings, and outsole.
