Impressive hues on the upper make this new Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT colourway appealing for the summer season. One of the most modern Air Jordan 1 models in recent memory; the Zoom CMFT version also arrives in a plethora of colours. The Air Jordan 1 Zoom Air CMFT “Fossil Stone” uses lightweight upper fabrics for that modern style just like a breath of fresh air.
While the regular Air Jordan 1s arrive every now and then, the Zoom CMFTs just keep coming up with new flavours! This “Fossil Stone” rendition goes for a clean combination suitable for the outdoors; perfect for bringing out the heat in this summer season!
The Air Jordan 1 first came out in 1985 as Michael Jordan’s first signature basketball shoe. Designed by Peter Moore, the shoe emphasised MJ’s “Airness” and boasted his iconic Jordan Wings logo on the ankle collar. While the shoe remained in people’s minds thanks to Michael Jordan’s on-court prowess, the legacy it left outside basketball courts is also phenomenal.
The Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT prioritised what the normal Jordan 1 lacks: cushioning. And so the shoe features a heel Zoom Air unit and a foam outsole section in the middle for more cushioning.
This Air Jordan 1 Zoom Air CMFT “Fossil Stone” features a Light Fossil canvas base with Fossil Rose suede overlays. The Swoosh comes in the form of a cut-out panel in the shape of the iconic brand logo. Jordan Wings logo is also present.
Hits of Purple appear on the exposed foam lining on the collar. The Black rubber outsole hides a Mint Green foam portion to keep the odd colour hidden underneath.
Speckles on the cupsole indicate recycled content.
Keep an eye out for this pair on Nike as the shoe officially releases in June 2022.
