The Air Jordan 13 Retro “Playoffs” 2023 marks only the third time we get this pair in its full glory. Details and overall shape of the shoe follow the OG 1998 construction, giving us all the more reason to buy.

One of the most recognisable Air Jordan 13 colourways, this shoe got the Playoffs moniker when MJ rocked the shoe. While MJ switched to the prototype Air Jordan 14 to capture his final NBA championship and complete the three-peat, the J13 remains iconic. Jordan Brand executed this comeback well!

The Air Jordan 13 is one of the fan-favourite Air Jordan retros in the latter half of Michael Jordan’s career. With modern technology now in the hands of the brand, the Air Jordan 13 remains a great basketball shoe after all these years.

Officially introduced in 1997, the Air Jordan 13 took design inspiration from a panther. What designer Tinker Hatfield didn’t know was that MJ eventually told him that his closest friends nicknamed him “The Black Cat”, making the AJ13 a fitting shoe for MJ.

Premium quilted designs comprise the upper of the shoe. A round hologram featuring 23 and a Jumpman logo adorn the lateral rear, mimicking the eyes of a panther.

Panther’s paws resemble the outsole featuring segmented herringbone traction patterns. Zoom Air units on the heel and forefoot provide responsive cushioning and impact protection.

This Air Jordan 13 Retro “Playoffs” 2023 comes in the usual Black and Red makeover with White accents on the Phylon midsole.
