Air Jordan 36 SE "Luka Doncic PE / Global Game" DJ4483-400

The next-generation NBA “Wonderboy” from Slovenia finally gets his Player Exclusive Air Jordan 36 and lands in the UK! Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic joined Jordan Brand in 2019; and since then, he headlines the Jumpman’s annual flagship signature model. For 2021, the Air Jordan 36 “Luka Doncic PE” got unveiled, and we finally get an official release in 2022.

As the epitome of Jordan Brand’s focus on performance footwear (aside from the hyped Air Jordan Retros, of course); the Air Jordan 36 took subtle design cues from the Air Jordan 6 and incorporated them into the overall aesthetic of the shoe. This Luka Doncic Player Exclusive pays tribute to his NBA club and his home country Slovenia.

For improved on-court performance, the Air Jordan 36 incorporates a thin yet durable leno-weave upper with TPU reinforcements. There are leather or suede overlays covering the toe and eyestays for added durability. Loop bands on the sides work in tandem with the raised sidewall for better lateral stability. Pull tabs on the tongue and heel panel give you the ease of access.

The midsole boasts a more rigid Eclipse plate on the midfoot area right above the cored-out section. Inside the shoe and underneath the sockliner, a full-length Zoom Air strobel allows maximum responsiveness and boosts comfort for game days. Not only that, there’s another Zoom Air unit protruding on the forefoot area for more cushioning.

Aggressive herringbone returns to the outsole where a large Jumpman logo also resides.

This Air Jordan 36 “Luka Doncic PE” arrives in Dallas Mavericks colours. Blue makes up the majority of the shoe while hints of Teal adorn the midsole and the TPU band on the upper.

Doncic’s official logo with Jordan Brand emblazons the tongue together with the Jumpman; more Nike Air and Doncic details are found all throughout the heel.

Expect an official launch in March 2022 on the Nike website. Hoopers will be delighted with this release.
