It’s always a good day when we see OG Air Jordan Retro colourways see the light of day. This pair is unlike any other retro versions of the colourway, as this rendition follows the OG 1992 edition. The Air Jordan 7 Retro “Cardinal” joins the already busy month of November filled with fire releases! It’s the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan 7 in 2022 and we’re glad to see Jordan Brand giving it some love.

Famous for becoming MJ’s 2nd championship shoe and the 1992 Olympics, the Air Jordan 7 revisits the Cardinal colourway. The must-cop list just goes on with all the upcoming pairs releasing in the last few months of 2022.

Another Tinker Hatfield masterpiece, the Air Jordan 7 debuted the coveted Huarache technology way back in 1992. The shoe features a leather upper with neoprene interiors on the rear. Aside from providing a better fit, Huarache reduces the weight thanks to the cut-out panels around the ankle.

Jumpman logos appear on the rear, while various Michael Jordan details adorn the heel and tongue.

Gone is the visible Air Max unit in the heel. But Nike replaced the cushioning system with a full-length Air unit encapsulated within the PU midsole. Multiple circles make up the rubber outsole and act as small suction cups.

The Air Jordan 7 Retro “Cardinal” returns in its OG makeover from 1992 and features a White premium leather upper. Hints of Gold and Cardinal Red comprise the Jumpman logos, raised sidewalls, heel, and outsole.
