Nike Air Max Dawn "Red / Blue" DJ3624-400

Another year, another Nike Air Max model arrives. The Nike Air Max Dawn in “Red / Blue” showcases the beloved attributes of some vintage Nike trainers. This new Nike Air Max Dawn silhouette will surely get you up before the sun rises.

The Nike Air Max footwear line continues to exceed expectations as the Swoosh incorporates a new Air Max setup. These new Air Max cushioning setups began with this year’s Nike Air Max Pre Day and Nike Air Max 2021 models. It’s time to add this new Nike Air Max Dawn to that list.

The Nike Air Max Dawn features a lightweight mesh base upper with suede overlays on high-wear areas. The usual build of Nike’s classic running sneakers. Vintage designs are in full display in this model, most noticeably the old-school “nike” labels on the tongue, sockliner, and the pull tabs. Nike Swoosh logos on the sides appear in a slimmer fashion than the Air Max Pre Day.

On the midsole, a soft foam midsole houses a slightly exposed Air Max unit in the heel. If it looks familiar, the setup here uses the same Air unit as the Air Max Pre Day, except there’s foam on the heel; leaving only the front section of the Air unit exposed. A thin rigid heel clip provides decent support and stability.

Finishing the design of this new model is the rubber outsole featuring a wavy traction pattern. It’s like the herringbone traction pattern but has widely-spaced grooves than usual.

This Nike Air Max Dawn “Red / Blue” combines a Blue mesh base body with Red suede reinforcements. White details on the rest of the parts keep the design fresh and clean on any outfit!

Expect the shoe’s official release this November 2021 as Nike continues to roll out more colourways for this brand new model.
