Long rubber Swoosh logos make a return thanks to the latest sneaker collab between Nike and AMBUSH. After a flurry of Dunk Highs in 2021, the Tokyo-based design brand takes another Nike icon. This is a fitting year-end release of the AF1’s 40th anniversary in 2022. The AMBUSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low SP “Game Royal” headlines the first few releases of the shoe with modified details.
Better be ready for the Air Force 1 releases in December 2022 as multiple collabs will launch. Joining the lineup is a two-pack Air Force 1 Low collab with AMBUSH. Vibrant colours make their way to a classic Nike shoe once more just like the Nike Dunk High from the previous year. Let’s go ahead and check out this first of two AF1 AMBUSH colourways dropping this month.
The Nike Air Force 1 is as iconic as it gets. First arriving in 1982 as a high-top basketball shoe, the AF1 went on to release more versions, including the Lows and Mids. Not to mention the hybrids that also came out in the modern era.
This masterpiece of a shoe continues to sell strongly in stores. Collabs like this one showcase the limitless possibilities of adding new design features to the Nike Air Force 1.
The AMBUSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low SP “Game Royal” features a Game Royal leather upper with Varsity Maize accents on the Swoosh. Notable modifications include the oversized rubber Swoosh, plastic heel counter, and exposed foam on the tongue. AMBUSH labels can be found throughout the shoe.
Set for a December 2022 release, you can cop a pair on the Nike UK website and in select retailers.
