Nike Blazer Low x sacai x KAWS "Blue"

The regular Nike Blazer Low may look simple for the most part. But this remix of the classic basketball shoe surely went the extra mile for a brand new look. Nike and sacai once again teamed up for this iteration. And they also brought American designer Brian Donnelly, or more commonly known as KAWS, in this triple powerhouse collaboration. The Nike Blazer Low x sacai x KAWS “Blue” appears to be one of the most highly anticipated sneakers for this year. And we cannot wait for its official launch as well!

It seems like the Nike Blazer Low is having a great year in 2021. Mostly because of its past and upcoming collabs that brought out the model’s full potential. Especially when it comes to the biggest names in the industry like Off-White, sacai, and more.

For the most part, Nike and sacai released a lot of Nike Blazer colourways since 2019. And nothing is stopping them this year either. Back in this shoe is the double design that sacai popularized in some of the Nike Blazers in the past. The leather upper is graced by dual layers of Swoosh, suede eyestays, double tongues, and double laces. Even the rubber sole unit appears stacked on the forefoot and the heel.

Subtle KAWS details come in the form of the signature “XX” monogram on the forefoot sole section. The tag on the lower tongue combines Nike, sacai, and KAWS’ “XX” logo for the ultimate collab.

For a more deconstructed look, the ankle collar’s foam ditched the interior lining and exposed the foam instead.

The “Blue” colourway combines Blue and hints of Green on the second laces and the second tongue. Pink adorns the suede eyestay while Yellow completes the overlapped Swoosh.

It’s one of two colourways expected to release this year.

After months of rumours, the Nike Blazer Low x sacai x KAWS “Blue” will drop this October 2021 on the Nike website.
