CLOT x Nike Cortez CLOTEZ "Forrest Gump" DZ3239-100

CLOT and Nike look to conclude the Cortez collab with the third and possibly the last colourway of the trio. There’s no better way to finish off the CLOTEZ renditions with none other than the OG colourway! The CLOT x Nike Cortez CLOTEZ “Forrest Gump” reimagines the classic White, Red, and Blue colourway, or the OG. This is a great addition to the collection if you have the OG Cortez and the sacai Zoom Cortez in the same colourway.

The Nike Cortez gets more love after a handful of collabs in the previous year with Union LA and sacai. For 2023, the brand teamed up with Hong Kong streetwear label CLOT for a trio of modified Nike Cortez silhouettes. Dubbed the CLOTEZ, the shoe transforms into a 3-in-1 shoe which can be worn in two ways.

Nike has a long history in running industry, and one of the most revolutionary sneakers from the brand is the Cortez. The Cortez is the first track running shoe from Nike and came out in 1972.

Leather and nylon comprises the upper of the shoe, with large Nike Swooshes on the sides. A dual-density sponge foam midsole provides adequate cushioning and provides impact protection when running. The aggressive herringbone traction pattern ensures grip with every step.

The CLOT x Nike Cortez CLOTEZ “Forrest Gump” utilises the OG colourway with a twist. Appearing in a clean White base, the shoe features Blue Swooshes on the outer layer while Red on the inner construction.

Yin Yang logos and CLOT branding can be seen on the heel and sockliner. Co-branded labels adorn the tongue.

The shoe also comes with a special kung-fu-inspired box.
