UK’s very own Corteiz teams up with Nike for a special pack consisting of the iconic Air Max 95. This 2017-born streetwear brand created by Clint 419 rolls out its biggest collab yet. The Corteiz x Nike Air Max 95 SP “Olive” arrives in a classic Olive Green makeover with vibrant Nike Air units. This is a great start considering it’s a new brand. We can’t wait for the future of Corteiz RTW and their upcoming collabs!
Clint 419 chose the fan-favourite Nike Air Max 95 as the first release of the Corteiz x Nike partnership. This is a great choice considering the popularity of the 110s in the UK!
The Nike Air Max 95 is one of the most popular Air Max models of all time. First launched in 1995, designer Sergio Lozano crafted the AM95 with the human body in mind. He based the wavy upper of the shoe on the human muscles, while the lacing setup represents the lungs. The thick midsole serves as the spine.
Meant to surpass all its predecessors, the Air Max 95 features the first visible Air unit in the forefoot. The Air Max on the heel also remains, but with a bigger bubble.
UK-based streetwear brand Corteiz put their own spin on the shoe with the new collection.
This Corteiz x Nike Air Max 95 SP “Olive” appears in a mix of Grey and Olive tones on the upper. The top panel features a Beige netted mesh to complement the rest of the upper.
Corteiz signatures adorn the forefoot and rear, replacing the mini Swoosh. Numerical details can be seen on the heel panel with reflective materials.
The Black PU midsole houses two visible Air units both appearing in Vibrant Yellow.
This special release is the first of the expected two releases. You can cop a pair this March 2023 on Nike UK.
