Drake Nike Hot Step Air Terra NOCTA "White" DH4692-100

The debut of Drake’s first-ever sneaker with Nike approaches! About a year since Nike and Drake launched the NOCTA (nocturnal creative process) label in late 2020, more projects followed. One of the most anticipated is the upcoming sneaker in the partnership. We finally get to see the Drake x Nike Hot Step Air Terra NOCTA “White” release in 2022. Hip hop and sneaker cultures collide once more!

It’s been a historic ride for Nike, who climbed their way to the top of sportswear brands and became a household name in fashion. The same goes for Drake, who started as an actor in a teen series before gaining more fame in hip-hop. Drake was already a big fan of Nikes and Jordans back then, rocking unreleased colourways until he finally got his own.

Years after the Jordan x OVO collabs, it’s time for Drake’s new Nike division NOCTA to shine.

The first trainer in the partnership is this new Nike Hot Step Air Terra. Worn by Drake himself in his “Laugh Now, Cry Later” music video; the shoe boasts recognisable Air Max designs with a mix of modernity. Wavy diagonal lines along the upper reminds us of Nike’s pivotal running trainers. Patterned perforations and a mini Swoosh appear on the sides.

NOCTA’s three swords logo adorns the tongue and sockliner.

A bulky foam midsole encases a visible Air Max unit in the heel for solid cushioning and comfort. Below, a rugged traction pattern consisting of lugs and herringbone brings consistent grip.

This debut “White/Chrome” colourway appears in an all-white leather upper with Metallic Silver accents. Hints of yellow appear on the Air Max unit and rubber outsole.

Highly anticipated just like his albums, expect a lot of demand on the Nike Hot Step Air Terra “White” once it releases in late January 2022.
