New Balance 327 x atmos "Realtree Camo" MS327ART

Live and breathe the outdoors in this nature-themed New Balance 327. The three-way collab between New Balance, atmos, and hunting brand Realtree Camo reimagines the popular 327 model in camouflage form. This is a great and unique sneaker suitable for anyone looking for a graphic print that actually has a function.

While camouflage colourways are normal, graphic upper fabrics made with top-of-the-line materials are a rather welcome presence in sneakers. This new take on the New Balance 327 utilises Realtree’s outdoor-specific EDGE Cordura Nylon on the body. One thing that the camouflage effect cannot hide is how awesome the shoe looks! New Balance isn’t afraid to shy away from their minimalist designs from time to time, and it’s evident in this rendition.

Aside from New Balance’s famous 990 and 99x footwear line, their lifestyle selections continue to lean on the brand’s vintage runners. This is the case with the New Balance 327. Originally launched in 2020, the model took inspiration from three NB runners from the 70s namely: NB 320, 355, and the SuperComp. The combination resulted in a low-cut shoe with a thick EVA foam midsole and the large “N” signature logo.

To hype up the release, New Balance teamed up with luxury fashion brand Casablanca and debuted the New Balance 327.

More than a year since its launch, the 327 remains extremely popular and is one of the best-sellers from NB. Because of the success, more brand collabs emerged almost left and right throughout its course. And the latest for 2022 is definitely one of the most unique team-ups yet.

For this rendition, New Balance tapped Japan’s atmos and hunting equipment brand Realtree Camo for a one-of-a-kind iteration. Realtree’s durable and heavy-duty EDGE Cordura Nylon fabric reinforces the base; where graphic prints of the outdoors bring a camouflage effect. Orange suede overlays on the front and the classic “N” in black highlight brand identity.

A soil-like heel panel completes the outdoor disguise aesthetic.

Sail white EVA midsole and black rubber outsole finishes off the shoe.

Expect an official release of the New Balance 327 x atmos “Realtree Camo” in late January 2022 on the New Balance website.
