New Balance 990v4 Made in USA "Grey Day" U990TA4

New Balance just celebrated the brand’s annual Grey Day event in May with a massive sneaker collection. While some pairs already launched, the celebration extends to the following month with this upcoming pair. The New Balance 990v4 Made in USA “Grey Day” boasts iconic grey tones with additional hints of sail white to achieve the vintage makeover.

First celebrated in 2018, New Balance’s sneaker holiday called Grey Day honours the brand’s iconic grey colourway. Through the years, “dad shoes” went from being subject to memes to becoming highly sought after. Nowadays, not only dads like these silhouettes, everybody wants a pair! The 990v4 Grey Day joins other NB 990x icons in the celebration.

The New Balance 990v4 is one of the modern renditions of the classic running shoe line. Introduced in 2016, the shoe follows up on the dad shoe 990v3 with a sleeker shape. The shoe features a mesh base body with pigskin suede overlays – the typical materials used across all 990x models. As part of the Made in USA collection, you can expect premium quality that gives you your money’s worth. ENCAP cushioning provides all-day comfort.

The rubber outsole boasts multiple flex grooves with diamond-like patterns on the forefoot.

This New Balance 990v4 Made in USA “Grey Day” features a white mesh base with grey pigskin suede reinforcements. Indigo tones cover the N logos on the sides and the small heel counter. Sail white tones can be seen on the heel foam midsole for that vintage touch.

This Grey Day rendition drops this June 2023 on New Balance.
