Nike Air Force 1 Low '07 "Pastel White" DR8590-001

Another Air Force 1 Low gets the soft pastel tone treatment! Easter’s a few months behind, but Nike’s not stopping the arrival of new Easter-inspired colourways. This Nike Air Force 1 Low ’07 “Pastel White” joins the other multicoloured “Easter” rendition; both dropping halfway through 2022. While the other pair mixes various pigments, this colour scheme leans to the cooler hues of the colour wheel for a nice and fresh finish.

With 40 years under its belt in 2022, one would think that the AF1 will be irrelevant. That is not the case as the Swoosh rolls out even more colourways of the shoe to celebrate its historic milestone. Not all sneakers can last 40 years in the market let alone remain as a best-selling shoe. The Nike Air Force 1 proved its popularity despite almost disappearing forever just two years after its debut.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low originally came out in 1982 as Nike’s latest basketball shoe. First appearing in high-top form, the shoe equipped the NBA’s powerful big men. The Low came out shortly after a year.

What made the AF1 Low stand out the most is the Nike branding; the distinguished Swoosh on the sides and “AIR” on the midsole helped define a lot of cultures and even cities.

This Nike Air Force 1 Low ’07 “Pastel White” seems to be an unofficial Easter shoe that came out late. Pebbled leather comprises the upper consisting of pastel tones of White, Light Blue, and Soft Green. Ivory makes up the heel panel of the shoe for that earthy detail.

Light Bone outsole finishes off the fresh new colourway just in time for summer.
