A new “Be Kind” rendition lands on the Nike Air Force 1 a few years since it first arrived in 2020. This Nike Air Force 1 Low “Be Kind” goes for soft pastel tones; truly living up to its “kind” and easy-going nature! A collage of upper materials highlight this 80s classic basketball trainer.

Be Kind is an expected Nike footwear collection inspired by World Kindness Day. Another popular pack paying homage to a certain event or culture is the “Be True” pack; which has continued releasing annually over the years. This AF1 Low rendition goes heavy on some Spring-ready colours for a unique finish.

The Nike Air Force 1 dates back to 1982, a time when Nike’s ready to introduce new sneaker technologies. One of the most popular Nike techs at the time was Nike Air – a cushioning system where a bag filled with pressurised air hides within the sole for comfort. The AF1 was the first basketball shoe to ever utilise the setup; which got a lot of people excited.

People may think that the Nike Air Force 1 never faced obstacles along the way. But as a matter of fact, the shoe wasn’t meant to last this long. Just two years into the market, Nike already had plans to scrap the shoe for newer styles. But with the persuasion of fans, the AF1 continued its historic run. Years later, it’s now one of Nike’s top-selling trainers of all time.

This Nike Air Force 1 Low “Be Kind” features a collage-like panel comprised of pebbled leather and suede. Light Blue and Grey mix up throughout the upper for a fresh minty take on the classic.

“Be Kind” labels appear underneath the “Nike Air” panel on the heel.
