Nike Air Force 1 Low Colour of the Month "Speed Yellow" FJ1044-700

Another month, another Colour of the Month AF1 Low from Nike. The old tradition continues as the brand continues to honour the iconic AF1 since its 40th anniversary in 2022. For May 2023, we get this Nike Air Force 1 Low Colour of the Month “Speed Yellow” donning a monochromatic yellow base with a Jewel Swoosh. We have another sure-fire pair that will stand out!

Recently celebrating its 40th year in 2022, Nike continues to give us new styles of the Nike Air Force 1. The Colour of the Month extends to 2023 with premium AF1 Lows. Take note that normal and collab AF1 releases are also active, making it AF1 galore once again!

Nike has many iconic sneakers, but the Nike AF1 is one of the first to define culture. The shoe is so iconic it had a fanbase that convinced the brand to keep the shoe in the footwear catalogue.

It all began in 1982, Nike was trying to make some noise in the basketball department. Bruce Kilgore designed a basketball shoe with a Nike Air unit in it, a first for any Nike basketball trainer. After its initial success, the brand put the shoe on hiatus in 1984 before eventually bringing it back in 1986.

Since then, the AF1 became an essential part of everybody’s casual footwear rotation. The cushioning of Nike Air paired with the durability of leather stood the test of time as the AF1 felt more comfortable after every wear!

This Nike Air Force 1 Low Colour of the Month “Speed Yellow” features a monochromatic yellow upper with Jewel Swooshes on the sides. Nike Air branding on the tongue and heel also comes in white for a clean finish.
