The impressive yet simple colour combination on this colourway reminds us a lot of the “Forrest Gump” Cortez. Others consider this to be a Team USA colourway, just like the other version. This Nike Air Force 1 Low “White Red Blue” continues the heavy AF1 drops in July with a tribute to its basketball heritage in the 80s. 40 years of Nike Air Force 1 history in 2022 means that we’re getting an overload of colourways this year!
There are already thousands of Nike Air Force 1 colourways across all models. But Nike continues dropping even more styles! The Swoosh brand sticks to basics with this White, Red, and Blue rendition highlighted by basketball logos on the heel panel.
Nike saw a breakthrough in the brand’s basketball catalogue with the arrival of the Nike Air Force 1. Launched in 1982, the Nike AF1 is the first hoops shoe from Nike to utilise Nike Air cushioning. Hidden inside the cupsole, the Air unit runs about 3/4th length for the bouncy cushioning needed by athletes.
After moving on to Nike’s Sportswear category, the AF1 remained popular. The Nike Air Force 1 Low is arguably the most popular model among all, arriving in thousands of colourways. Recent collabs include Virgil Abloh’s Off-White and Virgil Abloh’s Louis Vuitton x Nike AF1 Collection.
This Nike Air Force 1 Low “White Red Blue” features a White leather base with Red Swooshes and Nike labels. Blue adorns the line on the midsole and the basketball logo on the heel.
Stay tuned for this pair on the Nike website this July 2022. Expect more AF1 drops throughout the rest of 2022.
