Literally a new savoury and sweet colourway of the Nike Air Force 1 lands upon us halfway through 2022. With the 40th anniversary of the classic basketball shoe in full swing with the emergence of hyped collabs; we also see premium colourways such as this one. The Nike Air Force 1 Mid QS “Chocolate” goes for that sweet tooth with its dominating Brown colours with hints of Sail White.

A timeless trainer forever and always, the Nike Air Force 1 brings more flavours for its fourth decade in the market. With various earthy tones from previous releases comes this new Brown-based colourway inspired by none other than sweet chocolate.

The Nike Air Force 1 celebrates its 40th year in 2022, but many are probably still aware of its long history. Introduced in 1982, the AF1 is the first Nike basketball shoe with Nike Air technology. The first version of the AF1 only came in High with the ankle strap; with the Lows eventually arriving a year later.

In 1984, Nike temporarily ceased production of the shoe to give way to other styles. But with enough persuasion from dedicated AF1 fans, the shoe lived on; eventually becoming one of the most popular sneakers of all time.

With a historic milestone this year, we get to see more colourways of the classic AF1.

This Nike Air Force 1 Mid QS “Chocolate” features a buttery smooth Brown suede upper resembling chocolate. Sail White accents cover the Swoosh logos, laces, lining, and cupsole. This is a clean and basic makeover perfect for all seasons.
