Nike Air Huarache "Black Metallic Silver" DX8968-001

The Nike Air Huarache is a popular sneaker without the Swoosh, but this new colourway shows one! Still one of the most comfortable trainers in the brand’s lifestyle category, the popular Huarache model arrives in new styles. The Nike Air Huarache “Black Metallic Silver” combines an all-Black upper with hints of Metallic Silver and Grey. This is a similar colour blocking found on other iconic Nike models rocking the same colourway.

Nike has a “Reflective Pack” on the way, although it’s still unannounced. The pack includes iconic Nike trainers such as the AF1 and Air Max 90. Joining the Black and Metallic Silver theme is this Nike Air Huarache. Stealthy in Black yet stands out thanks to the Metallic Silver hits.

Aside from Air Max sneakers, the Huarache is one of the most revolutionary technologies from Nike. Introduced in 1991, the Nike Air Huarache is a Tinker Hatfield design that is lightweight and comfortable. The Huarache technology comes in the form of a neoprene padding around the ankle and hugs the foot for a better fit. This also reduced the weight of the shoe as it cuts down on heavy materials like leather.

Years later, the Nike Air Huarache is still the most popular model to feature Huarache technology.

This Nike Air Huarache “Black Metallic Silver” features an all-Black mesh and leather upper with an embroidered mini Swoosh on the forefoot. Metallic Silver hints appear on the tongue and the rubber “Nike” heel counter.

This is one of the cleanest colourways of the Nike Air Huarache in 2022. Keep an eye out for its release this August 2022.
