Nike Air Max 1 PRM Corduroy "Coral Stardust" FB8915-600

Following the vibrant Air Max 1 Corduroy “Baltic Blue”, Nike brings us another corduroy-based AM1 with aesthetically pleasing tones. It’s already a solid year for the Air Max 1 thanks to the ’86 Big Bubble’s debut and appearances of new awesome styles. This Nike Air Max 1 PRM Corduroy “Coral Stardust” lands in pink and orange tones with a full corduroy build. Another must-cop pair right here!

The Nike AM1 is on a roll right now, and Nike wants to keep the momentum going with monthly releases of new styles. Different themes bring out individuality in every single colourway, making the shoe a fan favourite of various cultures.

We can’t talk about Air Max icons without including the shoe that started it all: the Air Max 1. Back in the 80s, Nike wanted to develop the Nike Air technology. So designer Tinker Hatfield went to design a shoe with a cored-out foam to let the Air bubble peak.

The regular Air Max 1 incorporates a mesh base with leather and suede overlays. A thick PU foam midsole serves as a carrier for the Nike Air units, with the heel Air unit being visible.

The AM1 remains an icon in Nike’s lifestyle sneaker back catalogue.

This Nike Air Max 1 PRM Corduroy “Coral Stardust” features a pink corduroy base with orange corduroy Swooshes. Brown accents appear on the interior lining, Nike Air labels, and rubber waffle outsole.

This pair follows up on the previous corduroy Nike Air Max 1. We can hope for more corduroy uppers on the AM1 as the brand rolls out more colourways.
