Nike wants you to be one with nature in this new premium Air Max 1 iteration. This pair is just one of many AM1 colourways dropping in 2023. The Nike Air Max 1 PRM “Escape” flaunts forest-inspired tones headlined by the heel panel bearing silhouettes of trees. Extremely similar to the Air Max 1 x Liverpool with a few adjustments!

It’s certain that the Nike Air Max 1 continues to hit its peak popularity every single year. Most people didn’t appreciate the silhouette due to the AM90 being more famous. But since its 35h anniversary in 2022, more people start paying attention to the one that started it all.

Designing sneakers take years especially when a brand introduces something new. That was the case for the Nike Air Max line. Before the official 1987 Air Max 1 release, there was actually an initial launch a year before. This model sports a large Air unit and a different shape, and this is the ’86 Big Bubble we know today.

Inspired by the Centre Pompidou from France, the Air Max 1 features a streamlined upper composed of mesh with a leather and suede mudguard. The thick PU sole houses a visible Air unit in the heel.

Nike’s Air Max Day event celebrates the origin of Air, giving more spotlight to the shoe.

This Nike Air Max 1 PRM “Escape” features a white mesh base and a black fuzzy suede mudguard. Dark green accents adorn the Swoosh, leather forefoot rand, laces, and rubber outsole. Vibrant hints of red appear on the Nike Air labels placed on the tongue and heel.

Embroidered forest details comprise the rear panel.
