Nike is bringing a darker edge to the Air Max 95 with this striking “Black Dark Smoke Grey Smoke Grey Canyon Purple” colourway. The layered upper sticks close to the silhouette’s famous anatomy-inspired shape, while flashes of purple and green give this release a distinctly villainous feel. It may not be an official character collaboration, but the Joker comparisons are hard to miss.

The colour blocking does most of the talking. Black keeps the toe box and tongue clean, while Dark Smoke Grey and Smoke Grey ripple across the side panels. The layered construction creates a gradual gradient effect, giving the upper plenty of depth without making the design feel too busy. It’s classic Air Max 95 territory, just with a darker twist.
