With the official announcement of the Air Max 97’s 25th anniversary celebration happening anytime soon, these new styles keep us waiting for more. The Nike Air Max 97 NH “Rough Green” flaunts a dark Green base for that “Flight Jacket” vibe.

While we’re all waiting for the return of the OG “Silver Bullet” and “Atlantic Blue” renditions, new flavours keep coming upon us. This “Rough Green” colourway comes with complimentary hints of Gold to achieve that vintage effect. Signature details such as the Black and White rubber outsole make this a must-cop for Air Max 97 fans.

The Nike Air Max 97 will always be a timeless sneaker icon. First released in 1997, the Air Max 97 took its design cue from nature. Christian Tresser mimicked the ripples of water in creating the wavy panels on the upper. Mesh makes up the base of the shoe, while varying materials cover the mudguard and wavy panels depending on the colourway.

Back in its mini form is the Swoosh on the sides. This time, the mini Swoosh logos appear on the midfoot section.

The Nike Air Max 97 is the first sneaker to utilise full-length Air Max technology – adding to its popularity.

This Nike Air Max 97 NH “Rough Green” features a Gold mesh base upper with smooth suede overlays in Green. Leather accents make up the pull tabs on the tongue and heel for a premium touch.

A Black and White rubber outsole finishes off this new design.
