Nike Air Max 97 "White Metallic Silver" DX8970-100

Summer shoes can’t get better than this brand new colourway of the iconic Air Max 97! Joining other iconic Nike with the same theme, this Nike Air Max 97 “White Metallic Silver” rendition boasts White and Grey hues on the upper. Repeated Swooshes on the pull tab and a mini Swoosh on the forefoot bring brand labelling to the maximum. With the shoe celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2022, expect more fire colourways like this one to drop soon.

Nike’s making the most out of the summer season with more summer-themed colourways. The “White Metallic Silver” colourway landed on a bunch of popular Nike silhouettes like the Air Force 1 Low. And this Air Max 97 version is up next!

The Nike Air Max 97 is one of the most renowned Air Max models of all time. Designed by Christian Tresser, the Air Max 97 took design elements from water ripples. Some also say that the sharp and streamlined shape of the shoe came from Japanese bullet trains.

This trainer is also the first Air Max silhouette with a full-length visible Air Max unit. While it sits high above the ground, the Air Max 97 provided a lot of cushioning and comfort; perfect for daily wear.

Nike’s signature waffle outsole invented by Bill Bowerman brings a reliable grip on all surfaces.

This Nike Air Max 97 “White Metallic Silver” features a White mesh and leather base with Grey and Silver linings. The Swoosh on the sides is accompanied by another embroidered Swoosh on the forefoot.
