Nike Air Max Dawn "White / Blue"

Yet another Nike Air Max model arrives in 2021 to give us another sneaker to boast about. This Nike Air Max Dawn in “White / Blue” took design inspiration from vintage Nike trainers. This time with a twist of modernity.

The Nike Air Max footwear line continues to steer in a new direction as Nike incorporates a different setup. These new Air Max cushioning setups began with the Nike Air Max Pre Day and this year’s Nike Air Max 2021. It’s time to add this new Nike Air Max Dawn to the list of modern Air Max models.

The Nike Air Max Dawn features a lightweight mesh base upper with suede overlays on high-wear areas. Vintage designs are in full display in this model, most noticeably the old-school “nike” labels on the tongue, sockliner, and the pull tabs. Nike Swoosh logos on the sides appear slimmer than the Air Max Pre Day.

Going to the midsole, the soft foam midsole houses a slightly exposed Air Max unit in the heel. If you can recall, it’s a similar setup as the Air Max Pre Day, except there’s foam on the heel; leaving only the front section of the Air unit exposed. A thin plastic heel clip provides decent support and stability.

Finishing the design of this new model is the rubber outsole featuring a wavy traction pattern. It looks like the herringbone traction pattern but with wider spaces to ensure the grip sticks on any surface.

This Nike Air Max Dawn “White / Blue” combines a white mesh base body and sail white suede overlays. Blue Swooshes add life to the neutral tone of the shoe.

Expect the shoe’s official release this November 2021 as Nike continues to roll out brand new colourways for the brand new model.
